Food Adventure - Dragon Fruit

A whole bunch of dragon fruit
This is not our first food adventure, but it's the first one I'm making a post out of. Hit the "read more" to read the rest of it.

I got the name of this post from our friend Debra Dunn that we met at Rising Star. She was always having food adventures, and so we are now too.

You might have heard of a dragon fruit before, but you might not know exactly what it is. Well here's one:

The cut open dragon fruit, with the little plastic knife.

We thought that they looked pretty cool, so we figured we'd try one. We brought it home and did a little research on them, and how they were supposed to be cut and stuff. We only had a little plastic knife, so that's what we used. When we cut it open, it had a white inside with little black seeds. It didn't have much of a taste, it was kinda like water. It wasn't very chewy, it was like a pear, chewy-wise.

All in all, it was worth the 50 cents.

  1. LUCKY! I have always wanted to try one of those. I am so excited to see that you are still branching out and getting braver and braver trying all the different kinds of food. It looks so good!!!!
