This week we have been in Zakopane, Poland, a resort town in the mountains of Southern Poland that reminds me a little of Jackson, Wyoming. The main street, Krupowki Street, is supposedly closed to vehicles and is full of shops and restaurants. Seth and Jenna were always quick to point out the many ice cream stands. We tried several different foods at the various food stalls and liked everything except the smoked sheep cheese. There are several ski resorts here and Sam wishes we could come back in a few months to try them out. It's been nice to spend a week here in the fresh mountain air.
This looks a little Park City-ish. The autumn leaves look beautiful.

It looks like a wonderful place to visit. I envy all that mountain scenery, blue skies, cool temperatures--it looks like a great place to visit, but also a good time of year to be there. Grandpa Hull
ReplyDeleteThe area looks beautiful. I'm anxious to see if Helena has seen your blog. She will be back this week and I will share it with her. mom
DeleteI must say, that picture with the houses in the back ground on the next hill looks as though the place is just lovely. I can only imagine all the beautiful things you guys have seen.
