We have a habit when traveling of finding a restaurant that we like and eating there often. This trip is no exception. A local recommended that we try the “Baracuda Restaurant”. We decided to try it and we liked it.
Each time we went there we were the only non-locals in the restaurant. We got looked at and stared at every time we went there.
The first time we went I asked for a menu and the lady told me there was none and that everyone got the same thing. Each meal was a variation on this theme: soup, salad, rice, meat, and juice. It was very good and only $4.
One time we visited and noticed that some of the others took their dishes to the open kitchen. Not wanting to be disrespectful or deviate from local customs, when we finished we took our dishes to the kitchen like the locals had done and the ladies all had a good laugh at our expense.
