New Zealand RV Trip [BY JENNA]

We were staying at my dads friend's house, and he drove us to the place where we were got our Abuzzy RV.  We followed our friend to the nearest grocery store so we could buy some food.  When we were parked and ready to go in he left.  We got some really bad dish towels, but we made them work.

We looked around the RV and opened up cabinets and we found a GPS and that was really helpful, all you needed to do was type in where you needed to go and I programmed it in and you could go.

The first night we made the beds and one of the beds had a crack right in the middle of the bed, the person who got to sleep there got a blanket and the nice pillow.  There was a bunk bed the crack bed and a mini king size bed on top of the drivers seat.

We went on all sorts of hikes and on almost all of them we got a thing like a Junior ranger, but it was called a kiwi ranger because their National bird is a kiwi.  We got to see and touch a kiwi.  The kiwi looked really scared but they said it was okay.  They said they were going to release the kiwi into the wild, that's why we got to touch the kiwi.

We had one of our new favorite treats called Tim Tams.  You bite a little off each end get some hot chocolate and use it as a straw.  When you taste the hot chocolate stop and eat the Tim Tam.

Over all I think the RV was a big experience, I did not like the driving part at all, but I like every other part.
This is what a kiwi looks like

  2. My brother Mike fell in love with Tim Tams when he was on his mission to Australia. Now you can buy them in some grocery stores around Utah. They are delicious!

  3. I have never heard of Tim Tams, but maybe if they are available in Utah I might come across them someday--and not be afraid to try them. I loved your descriptions of sleeping in your motor home--so who got the cracked bed?
